A typical independent hotel ends up with a booking diary or spreadsheet, a login for each OTA extranet, a channel manager from one vendor, a booking engine from another, and invoices in an accounting tool. Each piece has its own price, its own login and its own copy of the guest. AI inside the hotel software, not as another product
Innkeeper uses AI for small, repetitive jobs that already sit inside the PMS. On the Hotel plan it drafts replies to guest messages for a person to check and send. On Boutique it suggests rates from your occupancy and booking pace, and you decide whether to accept them. The system never changes a price or sends a message on its own.
One price per property, every core module included
Hotel software for small properties is often sold as a base product plus modules plus a setup fee, with the final number shared only after a sales call. Innkeeper publishes its prices: roughly $5 per room per month at every tier, with the calendar, channel sync, booking engine, invoices and housekeeping included from the first plan. There is no setup fee and no annual contract required.
Hotel software questions
What does hotel software need to include for a small property?
At minimum a reservations calendar, channel sync, a direct booking engine, invoicing and housekeeping. Innkeeper includes all five on every plan, and adds the front desk night audit and rate plans from the Hotel plan.
Can I use only part of Innkeeper?
Yes. Every module is included, but you are not required to use all of them. Many properties start with the calendar and channel sync and add the booking engine later.
Does the AI change my prices automatically?
No. AI rate suggestions on the Boutique plan are suggestions. You accept or ignore each one.
