RoomRaccoon pricing and what a small hotel pays per year
RoomRaccoon does not post one fixed price list, so the numbers come from review sites. They put the entry plan between about $188 and $300 a month, a mid tier near $387 to $441 and the top tier near $620, with the price set by room count and modules. Billed on those figures, a small hotel pays roughly $2,256 to $7,440 a year. Innkeeper publishes every plan: an 8 to 30 room property pays $888 a year on the Hotel plan with the booking engine, channels and deposits included.
How much does RoomRaccoon cost?
RoomRaccoon sells tiered plans and says price depends on the number of rooms and the functionality you need. These are the figures that circulate, with where each one comes from, so you can see how far apart they sit:
| Source type | Entry | Middle | Top |
|---|---|---|---|
| Software Advice style listing | $188 a month, annual billing | none listed | none listed |
| Aggregator with four tiers | $236 | $300 and $441 | $620 |
| Second aggregator with four tiers | $207 | $262 and $387 | $620 |
| Comparison site for a roughly 30 room property | About $220 | none listed | none listed |
None of these come from RoomRaccoon, and several are dated 2024 or early 2026, so treat them as a reason to ask questions, not as a quote. One comparison notes that the lowest starting price requires an annual subscription, which saves about 20% against paying monthly. We read these sources in October 2026. Innkeeper is a separate company and is not affiliated with RoomRaccoon.
What the tiers are meant to cover
Listings describe RoomRaccoon as a cloud platform for hotels, hostels and similar properties that combines a PMS, a channel manager, a booking engine and revenue management, with guest communication and upselling tools on higher tiers. That is a broad set, and for a hotel with many rate plans and a revenue manager it can pay for itself.
For a 10 to 30 room owner-run inn the question is narrower. Which of those pieces do you open every day? At 14 rooms with two OTAs, the tape chart, channel sync, housekeeping board, invoices and a booking button on your website carry nearly all the value. If the tier that includes your channel manager and booking engine is the mid tier, the real price is the mid tier, not the entry figure on the listing.
The costs to ask about before you sign
Some listings show a required setup fee on entry plans, and tiers differ in which modules they include. Ask RoomRaccoon for each of these in writing:
- The monthly price for your room count and the tier that includes a channel manager and booking engine.
- Whether that price is billed yearly, and what monthly billing costs instead.
- Any setup, onboarding, data migration or training fee.
- Whether channel connections are charged per channel or per booking.
- Included staff users and the price of each extra user.
- Card processing, payment tools and any per-transaction fee.
- The contract term, renewal terms and notice period to cancel.
- Support hours, and whether phone support is part of your tier.
Listings disagree on whether a free trial exists, so confirm it before you plan a test around it. The one question that settles the comparison is the 12 month total: subscription, setup and every module you need to sell rooms online.
RoomRaccoon cost per year by room count, next to Innkeeper
RoomRaccoon has no price list, so the middle columns use the public figures above: the $188 entry plan on annual billing ($2,256 a year) and the $387 to $441 mid tier ($4,644 to $5,292 a year). The tier you need depends on features, and the price moves with room count, so a property at the top of the range will usually sit higher. It is a planning figure only. Your quote may be lower or higher.
| Rooms | RoomRaccoon entry tier, per year | RoomRaccoon mid tier, per year | Innkeeper billed yearly | Innkeeper paid monthly |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 8 | About $2,256 | About $4,644 to $5,292 | $288 (Inn) | $588 (Inn) |
| 20 | About $2,256 | About $4,644 to $5,292 | $888 (Hotel) | $1,788 (Hotel) |
| 30 | About $2,256 | About $4,644 to $5,292 | $888 (Hotel) | $1,788 (Hotel) |
| 50 | Quote needed | Quote needed | $2,988 (Boutique) | $5,988 (Boutique) |
| 80 | Quote needed | Quote needed | $2,988 (Boutique) | $5,988 (Boutique) |
Read it honestly. Up to 30 rooms, Innkeeper billed yearly costs less than half of RoomRaccoon's cheapest listed plan, and an 8-room inn can run on the Inn plan at $288 a year. Paid month to month, Innkeeper at 30 rooms ($1,788) is still below the entry tier. At 50 to 80 rooms the listings give no usable figure, so get a quote and compare it to $2,988 on Boutique. Our RoomRaccoon alternative page sets the features side by side.
Where Innkeeper fits on price
Innkeeper is a cloud PMS for owner-run inns, motels, B&Bs and small hotels up to 80 rooms. Every plan is on the hotel PMS pricing page: Inn at $49 a month for up to 10 rooms, Hotel at $149 for up to 30 rooms and Boutique at $499 for up to 80 rooms, or about half that billed yearly. The tape chart, channel sync, commission-free hotel booking engine, housekeeping and invoicing are in every plan, with no setup fee, no booking commission and no lock-in. Online deposits, the two-way channel manager software and night audit start on Hotel.
Running a hotel also means paying suppliers for linens, breakfast stock and repairs, and if those bills pile up, you can capture supplier invoice data automatically instead of retyping them into your books. We do not offer an open API, GDS connections or revenue management for hundreds of rooms. If you run a B&B, our bed and breakfast software page shows the daily routine in detail.
