RoomMaster pricing and cost: what a small hotel or inn pays per year
RoomMaster pricing is quote-based: the company publishes no price list and sends a personalized quote after you describe your property. HotelMinder and GetApp report a starting price of about $150 a month, billed per property rather than per room. That is about $1,800 a year before card processing, and larger hotels pay more.
How much does RoomMaster cost?
For a small US hotel or inn, RoomMaster starts at about $150 a month per property, according to HotelMinder and GetApp. SoftwareSuggest lists a starting figure of about $195 a month. RoomMaster's own pricing guide puts a full suite for 30 to 80 rooms at $300 to $700 a month across the market, and its quotes scale with property size and the modules you need.
The RoomMaster pricing page lists what a quote includes and asks you to book a demo or contact sales. There is no public rate card, so every hotelier starts from a conversation. If you want to compare it with a PMS whose price is on the page, open our live demo now and put both numbers side by side.
What a RoomMaster quote includes
RoomMaster, formerly innQuest, sells one bundled quote rather than named public tiers. Its pricing page says the quote covers the items below and that pricing scales with property size and operational needs.
| Item | What it covers |
|---|---|
| Cloud PMS | Reservations, front desk, housekeeping, night audit and reports |
| Booking engine | Commission-free direct bookings on your website |
| Channel manager | OTA connections, reported at 155+ channels |
| Payment processing | Integrated card payments, billed per transaction |
| Implementation and training | Setup of your property and staff training |
| Data migration | Moving reservations and guests from your current system |
| Ongoing support | Phone, chat and email support |
HotelMinder also lists revenue tools with AI-assisted dynamic pricing, a CRM, a website builder and a mobile app among RoomMaster's products. Ask which of those are inside your quote and which are priced separately, and get each as its own line.
Reported RoomMaster prices
Because there is no list price, the only public numbers come from software directories and from RoomMaster's own market guide. Treat them as a starting range, not a quote.
| Cost item | Reported figure | Source |
|---|---|---|
| Starting price | about $150 a month, per property | HotelMinder, GetApp |
| Alternative starting figure | about $195 a month | SoftwareSuggest |
| Billing unit | Per property, not per room or per user | HotelMinder |
| Setup, training and migration | Described as included in onboarding | HotelMinder, roommaster.com |
| Card processing | Per transaction, rate in your quote | roommaster.com |
| Market range, under 30 rooms | $100 to $250 a month | RoomMaster pricing guide |
| Market range, 30 to 80 rooms | $300 to $700 a month for a full suite | RoomMaster pricing guide |
The $150 starting price is the floor. A property that adds revenue management, a website or several integrations should expect a quote above it, especially past 30 rooms.
Yearly cost example for three property sizes
Here is a yearly estimate using the reported RoomMaster figures next to Innkeeper's public prices. RoomMaster numbers for 25 and 50 rooms use the reported floor and RoomMaster's own market ranges, so your quote may differ. Card processing is left out of both columns, because every PMS that takes cards charges it and the rate depends on your volume.
| Property | RoomMaster, estimated per year | Innkeeper, public price per year |
|---|---|---|
| 10-room B&B or inn | about $1,800 at the $150 floor | $490 on Inn paid yearly, or $588 paid monthly |
| 25-room independent hotel | about $1,800 to $3,000 | $1,490 on Hotel paid yearly, or $1,788 paid monthly |
| 50-room hotel | about $3,600 to $8,400 | $4,990 on Boutique paid yearly, or $5,988 paid monthly |
The gap is widest at the small end. A 10-room inn saves about $1,200 to $1,300 a year on Innkeeper's Inn plan compared with the reported RoomMaster floor. At 50 rooms the two can land close together, and the deciding factor becomes reporting depth, integrations and how your team likes the screen.
Other costs to check before you sign
Contract length and notice
RoomMaster does not publish contract terms. Ask for the minimum term, the renewal rule and the notice period in writing, and ask how you export reservations, guests and folios if you leave.
Payment processing and payouts
Card payments run through integrated processing and are billed per transaction. Ask for the exact rate and whether you can keep your own processor. If your hotel bills corporate accounts or tour groups on direct bill, a tool that sends invoice reminders by email and SMS until they are paid keeps those balances from sitting open for 60 days while the PMS only records them.
On-premise or cloud
RoomMaster offers both a cloud version and an on-premise option. On-premise means a server, backups and updates on your side, and those costs never appear in a software quote. Price the hardware and IT time too, or choose the cloud version.
Growth and extra properties
Because the price scales with property size, ask for the quote at the room count you expect in two years, and ask for the multi-property price if a second location is possible.

When a published-price PMS is the better deal
RoomMaster is a solid choice for an independent hotel with 50 to 200 rooms that uses its report library, runs revenue systems like IDeaS or Duetto, or wants a local server. For that hotel, the quote buys real depth.
For an owner-run hotel, inn or B&B under 80 rooms, Innkeeper lists every plan on its hotel PMS pricing page: Inn at $49 a month for up to 10 rooms, Hotel at $149 for up to 30 rooms and Boutique at $499 for up to 80 rooms, with no setup fee, no booking commission and no contract. The calendar, channel manager software, booking engine, invoices and housekeeping board are included from the first plan. Our RoomMaster alternative page compares the two feature by feature and shows how to move your reservations in four steps.
