SkyTouch pricing and what Hotel OS costs an independent hotel in year one

SkyTouch pricing is not published. The SkyTouch Hotel OS pricing page lists three packages, Basic, Independent and Enterprise, describes a per-room model ("you only pay for the rooms you manage") and sends every buyer to a free consultation. Directories report a starting price of about $200 a month (ITQlick) to about $600 a month (Hotel Tech Report), plus onboarding of $1,000 to $5,000 (ITQlick), so a small independent hotel should budget roughly $3,400 to $12,200 for its first year before card fees.

How much does SkyTouch cost?

SkyTouch Hotel OS costs from about $200 to $600 a month for a small property, according to ITQlick and Hotel Tech Report, priced per room after a sales consultation. ITQlick also reports a one-time onboarding fee of $1,000 to $5,000. GetApp lists the model as per feature from $5 a month, which tells you add-ons are priced line by line.

None of these figures comes from SkyTouch itself, and the gap between them is wide, so treat them as a range to test your quote against. To see a flat published price for the same front desk work, open our live demo.

What the SkyTouch packages include, and what is quoted separately

SkyTouch shows the same feature list under all three packages on its pricing page. The difference between Basic, Independent and Enterprise is set in the consultation, so ask which lines your package really covers.

Hotel Tech Report rates SkyTouch's price as average for the property management category, and reviewers there give it 4.4 from 123 reviews.

First-year cost example for three property sizes

SkyTouch publishes no rate per room, so the SkyTouch column uses the reported starting range for the subscription and ITQlick's onboarding range. A 30-room or 60-room hotel will usually be quoted above the starting figure, which is why those rows say "at least". Card processing is left out of both columns.

Property SkyTouch, reported first year Innkeeper, paid monthly Innkeeper, paid yearly
12-room motel or inn $2,400 to $7,200 subscription plus $1,000 to $5,000 onboarding, so $3,400 to $12,200 $1,788 on Hotel ($149 a month) $888 on Hotel
30-room independent hotel At least $3,400 to $12,200, per-room quote likely higher $1,788 on Hotel $888 on Hotel
60-room hotel Per-room quote above the starting range, plus onboarding $5,988 on Boutique ($499 a month) $2,988 on Boutique

The honest read: if SkyTouch quotes you near the $200 floor and waives onboarding, the gap at 12 rooms is small, and SkyTouch brings 24/7 phone support and a central reservation system that we do not. The gap opens when the quote lands near $600 or the onboarding line runs into thousands. A 12-room inn on the $600 figure with $3,000 onboarding pays $10,200 in year one, against $888 on our Hotel plan paid yearly.

Other costs to check before you sign

The per-room count

Ask whether the quote counts every room or only rooms you sell, and what happens to the price if you add rooms mid-contract. The pricing page says you only pay for the rooms you manage, so get that in writing.

Onboarding, training and data migration

ITQlick reports $1,000 to $5,000 for onboarding. Ask what the fee covers: data import from your current PMS, on-site or remote training, channel mapping, and whether SkyTouch University courses are included.

Payments through Shift4

SkyTouch integrates payments through a Shift4 partnership. Ask for the effective rate on Visa, Mastercard and Amex, any per-transaction or monthly gateway fee, and whether you can keep your current processor.

Add-ons priced per feature

GetApp lists a per-feature model. Point of sale, guest messaging, CRM and revenue management rules each appear on the package list, so ask which ones your package includes and which are billed as customized add-ons.

Guest reviews and marketing

RoomMaster notes few native guest engagement tools in SkyTouch. If you want every departing guest asked for a review, a separate customer review software can send the request after checkout, so price that line in when you compare systems.

How to get a comparable SkyTouch quote

Book the consultation with your room count, last year's occupancy and your channel list, and ask for each point below in writing so you can compare vendors line by line.

  • Monthly fee at your room count and the package name
  • Onboarding, training and data migration fee
  • Which features are in the package and which are add-ons
  • Payment processing rates through Shift4
  • Contract length, renewal and notice period
  • How you export your reservations and guest data if you leave

When a published plan beats a per-room quote

SkyTouch suits branded and soft-branded hotels, properties above 80 rooms, groups that need a central reservation system and point of sale, and anyone who wants 24/7 phone support with SkyTouch University training.

For a US independent hotel, motel, inn or B&B from 4 to 80 rooms, a published plan is easier to budget. Innkeeper lists every plan on its hotel PMS pricing page: Inn at $49 a month for up to 10 rooms, Hotel at $149 for up to 30 rooms and Boutique at $499 for up to 80 rooms, with the channel manager software, booking engine, invoices and housekeeping board included and no setup fee. Our SkyTouch alternative page compares the two systems feature by feature, and the RoomKey PMS pricing article covers another quote-only system that independent hotels shortlist.
