ResNexus pricing and what an inn or B&B pays per year

ResNexus pricing is custom, based on your unit count and season, and the company does not publish a price list. Third-party sources report about $30, $50 and $89 a month across its editions, with no setup fee on the PMS. A 10-room B&B lands near $110 a month once the hosted website is added, and the website carries its own $299 to $499 setup.

How much does ResNexus cost?

ResNexus costs from about $30 a month, according to Capterra, and RoomMaster's ResNexus pricing breakdown reports about $30 for Essentials, $50 for Premier and $89 for the top edition, each scaling with units. ResNexus's own pricing page only says "flexible, custom pricing based on your units and seasonality", no setup fee, no long-term contract and a risk-free trial.

The PMS price is low. What moves the bill is everything around it: a hosted website at about $80 a month, SMS messaging, card processing and, for campgrounds, an interactive site map. To compare it with a PMS that shows one plan price, open our live demo and put both numbers side by side.

ResNexus prices reported by property size

ResNexus does not publish a price list, so these figures come from a directory and a competitor's pricing study. Treat them as a starting point for your own quote.

Hotel Tech Report rates ResNexus pricing as above average for its category, and some Capterra reviewers say their costs keep rising, so get the price for your exact unit count and season in writing.

Yearly cost example for five property sizes

Below are the reported ResNexus figures per year next to Innkeeper's public prices. Card processing is left out of both columns, because every PMS that takes cards charges it. Innkeeper does not host your website; its booking engine goes into the site you already have.

Property ResNexus, per year (reported) Innkeeper, per year paid monthly Innkeeper, per year paid yearly
8-room B&B, PMS only about $360 on Essentials $588 on Inn $288 on Inn
10-room B&B with hosted website about $1,320, plus $299 to $499 website setup in year one $588 on Inn $288 on Inn
20-room inn on Premier or top edition $600 to $1,068 at the entry edition prices, more as units rise $1,788 on Hotel $888 on Hotel
40-unit property about $1,680 to $2,040 (RV park estimate) $5,988 on Boutique $2,988 on Boutique
80-unit property about $2,160 to $2,640 (campground estimate) $5,988 on Boutique $2,988 on Boutique

The honest read: on reported figures, the ResNexus PMS alone is cheaper than Innkeeper paid monthly at most sizes, and cheaper at 40 and 80 units even against our yearly plan. The picture changes when a small B&B also needs the hosted website, where a 10-room property pays roughly $1,000 more in the first year. The bigger unknown is your own quote, because ResNexus prices by units and season and does not publish the table.

Other costs to check before you sign

The website line

Many small inns buy the hosted website with the PMS, and that is where the monthly total often doubles. If you already have a site you like, ask whether the booking engine can sit on it without the hosted plan. If you need a new site, price it on its own too: an owner can build the inn's website with an AI website builder and add a booking widget, then compare that yearly cost with the hosted plan.

OTA bookings and the channel manager

ResNexus advertises commission-free OTA bookings on the Premier edition. If you are quoted Essentials, ask in writing whether reservations from Booking.com, Expedia or Airbnb carry any fee, and whether the channel manager is part of your price or a separate line.

SMS, payments and add-on products

Guest texting is billed separately, and card processing runs per transaction. Door locks, POS hardware and the site map add their own costs. Add all of them to the first-year total, not just the edition price.

Seasonal pricing

Because ResNexus prices by season as well as units, a property that closes for winter may pay less in the off months. Ask how the bill changes by month so you can compare a full year, not one busy month.

How to get a comparable ResNexus quote

Start the trial or book the call, then ask for a written quote that answers each point below, so you can compare it with other vendors line by line.

  • Monthly price for your edition at your exact unit count, month by month through the year
  • Whether the channel manager is included and whether OTA reservations carry any fee
  • Price and setup fee for the hosted website, if you want it
  • SMS pricing and card processing rate, and whether you can keep your own processor
  • What changes if you move from Essentials to Premier later
  • How you export reservations, guests and folios if you leave

When a published plan price beats a custom quote

ResNexus is a strong fit for campgrounds, RV parks and resorts with cabins, and for inns that want a hosted website, email marketing and POS from one vendor with an active US support team. On reported prices its PMS is inexpensive.

For an owner-run hotel, inn or B&B under 80 rooms that keeps its own website and wants a short list of screens and the full bill up front, a published plan is simpler. Innkeeper lists every plan on its hotel PMS pricing page: Inn at $49 a month for up to 10 rooms, Hotel at $149 for up to 30 rooms and Boutique at $499 for up to 80 rooms, with the channel manager software, booking engine, invoices and housekeeping board included and no setup fee, no booking commission and no contract. Our ResNexus alternative page compares the two feature by feature and shows how to move your reservations in four steps. If other vendors are on your list, read our innRoad pricing and Little Hotelier pricing breakdowns next.
