Stayntouch pricing and what a small hotel pays per month

Stayntouch pricing starts at $5 per room per month for its mobile PMS, with a $750 monthly minimum, according to Stayntouch's own pricing page. Because of that minimum, any hotel under 150 rooms pays at least $750 a month before add-on modules. Directories report a starting price between $550 (Capterra, Software Advice) and $800 a month (Hotel Tech Report), and most hotels get a custom quote.

How much does Stayntouch cost?

Stayntouch costs at least $750 a month on its published price list: $5 per room per month with a $750 floor, plus $2 per room for each extra module such as mobile check-in, the iPad front desk or the lobby kiosk, with one module included. A 12-room inn and a 140-room hotel pay the same base fee.

Remote setup, training workshops and 24/7 support are included in the base price, and on-site help is billed at $1,000 a day. Third-party listings show a start of $550 to $800 a month, so ask for your quote in writing. To see what a flat price per size band looks like for the same front desk work, open our live demo.

What the Stayntouch price includes, and what costs extra

This table follows the Stayntouch pricing page and the notes on its Capterra and Hotel Tech Report listings.

Item In the base price Billed on top
Cloud PMS with reservations, housekeeping and reports Yes
24/7 support and online knowledge base Yes
Remote setup, consultation and workshops Yes
One add-on module of your choice Yes
Mobile check-in and check-out for guests $2 per room per month
iPad front desk with key encoding and payments $2 per room per month
Lobby self-service kiosk $2 per room per month
ID scanning and facial recognition $1.50 per room per month listed
On-site consulting $1,000 a day
Channel manager and booking engine Through integration partners
Card processing Your payment processor

Stayntouch says its 1,400+ integrations come at no extra cost, but the partner on the other side of each integration usually bills its own subscription. That is where the channel manager cost hides.

Monthly cost example for four hotel sizes

These figures apply the published Stayntouch rate of $5 per room with a $750 minimum, plus one extra $2 module, next to Innkeeper's public prices. A channel manager partner and card processing are left out of the Stayntouch column, so its real total is higher.

Property Stayntouch base With one extra module Innkeeper, paid monthly Innkeeper, paid yearly
12-room inn $750 $774 $149 on Hotel $74 a month ($888 a year)
30-room hotel $750 $810 $149 on Hotel $74 a month ($888 a year)
80-room hotel $750 $910 $499 on Boutique $249 a month ($2,988 a year)
150-room hotel $750 $1,050 Above our 80-room plan limit Group plan across properties up to 200 rooms

The honest read: at 150 rooms Stayntouch's per-room price is low and the minimum stops mattering. Under about 80 rooms the floor does most of the work, and a 12-room inn pays more than $60 per room per month for the base system alone.

Other costs to check before you sign

Channel manager subscription

If Stayntouch connects to your OTAs through a partner, that partner sends its own bill. Ask which channel manager the quote assumes and what it costs at your room count, per month.

Modules you will actually use

List which modules your front desk needs on day one. Mobile check-in and the kiosk earn their cost when dozens of guests arrive at once. A small inn usually needs neither.

On-site training

Remote setup is included. If you want someone at the property for go-live, the published rate is $1,000 a day, so ask how many days the plan assumes.

Lobby screens and guest messaging

Hotels that add a kiosk often want check-in steps and local tips shown on a lobby TV too. That is a separate tool, and digital signage software that runs the screens you already own costs far less than a second kiosk.

Renewal terms

Read the term length, auto-renewal and price increase clauses in the quote, and note the notice period you need to leave.

  • Monthly fee at your room count, and whether the $750 minimum applies
  • Which modules are included and the price of each extra one
  • Which channel manager and booking engine the quote assumes, and their cost
  • One-time setup, training and migration fees, if any
  • Payment processing rate and any monthly minimum
  • Term length, renewal and how you export your data if you leave

When a flat price per size band beats a per-room minimum

Stayntouch is a strong fit for a 100-room or larger hotel, for properties that want mobile check-in and kiosks, and for management companies running several hotels. Its reviews for training and ease of use are strong.

For an owner-run hotel, inn or B&B from 4 to 80 rooms, a published plan without a floor is simpler to budget. Innkeeper lists every plan on its hotel PMS pricing page: Inn at $49 a month for up to 10 rooms, Hotel at $149 for up to 30 rooms and Boutique at $499 for up to 80 rooms, with the channel manager software, booking engine, invoices and housekeeping board included, and no setup fee, no booking commission and no contract. Our Stayntouch alternative page compares the two systems feature by feature, and the RoomKey PMS pricing article covers another system hotels weigh against Stayntouch.
