Maestro PMS pricing and what a small hotel pays per year
Maestro PMS does not publish a price list, so the figures come from review sites, and they disagree. One listing starts at $150 a month, another says $900 a month, and two show a $25,000 one-time starting price. Over a year that is anywhere from $1,800 to $10,800 in subscription, or a five figure upfront bill, before implementation and training. Innkeeper publishes every plan: an 8 to 30 room property pays $888 a year on the Hotel plan with the booking engine, channels and deposits included.
How much does Maestro PMS cost?
Maestro is sold by Northwind as a hospitality suite, and its pricing is quote based. Here are the figures that circulate, so you can see how far apart they sit:
| Source type | Figure shown | What it likely means |
|---|---|---|
| Software Advice style listing | From $150 a month | A starting price for an unspecified module set |
| Hotel comparison site | About $900 a month, no free trial | A fuller suite for a working property |
| Software Advice and GetApp | $25,000 one time | A license style starting price, scope not stated |
| GetApp monthly field | $23 a month, details unclear | Most likely a placeholder, do not budget from it |
Treat all of it as a range for planning. The only number that counts is a written quote for your room count.
What the price is meant to cover
Listings describe Maestro as a platform for resorts, hotels and spas, with reservations, sales and catering, point of sale and guest services modules. That breadth suits a property with several departments and an IT person. A 10 to 30 room owner-run inn usually needs a narrower set: tape chart, channel sync, housekeeping board, invoices and a booking button on the website.
If the modules you need sit in a higher tier or a separate license, your real price is the bigger number, not the starting figure on the listing.
The costs to ask about before you sign
Suite vendors often charge for more than the subscription. Ask Maestro for each of these in writing:
- The price for your room count and the exact modules you need to sell rooms online.
- Whether the quote is a monthly subscription or a one-time license plus annual support.
- Any implementation, data migration and training fee.
- Whether channel connections and the booking engine are separate charges.
- Included staff users and the price of each extra user.
- Hosting, if the system is not fully cloud based, and who handles backups and updates.
- Card processing and any per-transaction fee.
- The contract term, renewal terms and notice period to cancel.
Listings say there is no free trial, so confirm how you can test the product before paying. The one question that settles the comparison is the 12 month total: subscription or license, implementation and every module you need to sell rooms.
Maestro PMS cost per year by room count, next to Innkeeper
Maestro has no price list, so the middle columns use the public monthly figures above: $150 a month ($1,800 a year) and $900 a month ($10,800 a year). The $25,000 one-time figure is left out of the table because the listings do not say what it covers. This is a planning range only, and your quote may be lower or higher.
| Rooms | Maestro at $150 a month, per year | Maestro at $900 a month, per year | Innkeeper billed yearly | Innkeeper paid monthly |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 8 | About $1,800 | About $10,800 | $288 (Inn) | $588 (Inn) |
| 20 | About $1,800 | About $10,800 | $888 (Hotel) | $1,788 (Hotel) |
| 30 | About $1,800 | About $10,800 | $888 (Hotel) | $1,788 (Hotel) |
| 50 | Quote needed | Quote needed | $2,988 (Boutique) | $5,988 (Boutique) |
| 80 | Quote needed | Quote needed | $2,988 (Boutique) | $5,988 (Boutique) |
Read it honestly. Up to 30 rooms, Innkeeper billed yearly costs about half of even the lowest listed Maestro figure, and an 8 room inn can run on the Inn plan at $288 a year. Paid month to month, Innkeeper at 30 rooms ($1,788) is roughly equal to the $150 a month listing. At 50 to 80 rooms the listings give no usable figure, so get a quote and compare it to $2,988 on Boutique. Our Maestro PMS alternative page sets the features side by side.
Where Innkeeper fits on price
Innkeeper is a cloud PMS for owner-run inns, motels, B&Bs and small hotels up to 80 rooms. Every plan is on the hotel PMS pricing page: Inn at $49 a month for up to 10 rooms, Hotel at $149 for up to 30 rooms and Boutique at $499 for up to 80 rooms, or about half that billed yearly. The tape chart, channel sync, commission-free hotel booking engine, housekeeping and invoicing are in every plan, with no setup fee, no booking commission and no lock-in. Online deposits, the two-way channel manager software and night audit start on Hotel.
Better reviews bring in more direct bookings, and if you want to ask checked-out guests for a rating without chasing them by hand, you can collect guest reviews and send them to your listings once the stay is over. We do not offer point of sale for restaurants, sales and catering, an open API or revenue management for hundreds of rooms. If you run a B&B, our bed and breakfast software page shows the daily routine in detail.

Does Maestro PMS publish its pricing?

Does Maestro PMS have a free trial?
Listings say there is no free trial and no free plan. Ask Maestro directly how you can test it. Innkeeper has a live demo you can open without a sales call, and plans with no lock-in.

For a property up to 30 rooms, even the lowest listed figure of $150 a month is about $1,800 a year, against Innkeeper's $888 a year on the Hotel plan billed yearly. Maestro may quote differently for a particular property, so get the written total before you decide.
What is a cheaper alternative to Maestro PMS for a small hotel?
